Auburn Eye Care Associates has provided top quality eye care to the Auburn area for over thirty years and was proud to expand to Colfax in August of 2009. We strive to create an office atmosphere of trust, caring, and work to share our knowledge and expertise. Our staff regularly take continuing education classes for certification as a paraoptometric, an American Optometric Association recognition. They attend conferences and conventions to stay one step ahead and bring back the best practices for patient care to our offices.

We have had the privilege of caring for several generations of family members, and have enjoyed the opportunity to establish long-term relationships with our patients, and being active in our local community.

High-tech equipment/caring attitude

We are one of the few practices in the area to provide pachymetry, topography, retinal photography, IOL Master, OCT and laser scanning technologies. Our high-tech equipment provides the information needed to most accurately diagnose and treat eye disease such as glaucoma or other sight-threatening conditions. This advanced technology is also crucial in the fitting of difficult contact lens wearers, and in determining a person's suitability for refractive surgery such as Laser Vision Correction. We obtain the most comprehensive information possible to provide the accurate assessments of the pre-operative and post-operative Laser Vision Correction treatment.

Our well-trained opticians are very knowledgeable in both the latest styles of eyewear available as well as all types of lenses, coatings, and tints that are most suited to your needs. We show over nine hundred high quality frames -- everything from inexpensive glasses to top designer, exclusive and custom eyewear. We can provide all of the high-tech lenses (including transitions, polarized, hi-index, free-form PALS, progressive addition lenses (no-line bifocals), anti-glare technology, and scratch-resistant coatings. We pay close attention to the measurements, fit, comfort, appearance and appropriateness of all eyewear dispensed to insure the best vision for our patients.
